A private, single-user application for retrieving personal health and fitness data.

What this application does

jb-health retrieves its operator's own health and fitness data from the operator's own Google Account, via the Google Health API, and stores it on a private server the operator controls. It is used for personal review of training, sleep and recovery over time.

Who it is for

It is operated by Justin Bailes for his exclusive personal use. It is not offered to the public: there is no sign-up, no other users, no fee, and no commercial purpose. It has exactly one user, who is also its operator and its only data subject.

What data it accesses

Read-only access to the operator's own Google Health data:

• Activity and fitness — workouts, steps, exercise sessions
• Health metrics — heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, skin temperature, respiratory rate
• Sleep sessions and sleep stages
• Irregular rhythm notifications and electrocardiogram records, where present
• Basic Google Health profile information
• GPS location recorded during exercise sessions

No write access is requested. The application cannot create, alter or delete anything in the operator's Google Account. Retrieved data is shared with no one and is never used for advertising, profiling, or model training.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
